SAN FRANCISCO — Firms continue to jostle for manpower in California as lateral hiring season heats up. King & Spalding, Loeb & Loeb and Jones Day all welcomed new lateral partners in their California offices this week.

King & Spalding expanded its ranks in San Francisco with a pair of intellectual property lawyers. Meanwhile, IP partner Gregory Silberman joined Jones Day on Tuesday from Kaye Scholer, the third lateral partner the firm has added to its Silicon Valley office so far this year. Farther south, Loeb & Loeb added a real estate partner to its Los Angeles office.
