SAN FRANCISCO — Citing price and conflict pressures at their big firms, seven Silicon Valley lawyers have launched a new IP litigation boutique in Palo Alto.
Elizabeth Day, David Alberti, Clayton Thompson, Sal Lim, Yakov “Jake” Zolotorev and Marc Belloli left DLA Piper in the last few weeks to join Mayer Brown partner Ian Feinberg in opening Feinberg Day Alberti & Thompson. Since Feb. 1, long-time clients Apple Inc., Adobe Systems Inc. and Palm Inc. have retained the boutique for patent and copyright matters, the lawyers said.
