Dennis McAndrews, founder and ­managing partner of Berwyn-based multistate law firm McAndrews Law Offices, is set to ­perform his self-written play “If JFK Survived Dallas: Presidential Reflections of an Elder Statesman” on July 29 at the Stokes County Arts Council in Danbury, North Carolina.

The Stokes County Arts Council’s Stokes Arts Festival is scheduled to host two ­performances of his play.

McAndrews represents families and individuals in a variety of areas, including special education matters, estate planning, estate administration, special needs trusts, guardianship, right-to-treatment cases and abuse cases.

Additions

Jennifer L. Sheridan joined Griesing Law‘s intellectual property and technology practice group as senior counsel.

Sheridan has practiced law for over 20 years serving as general counsel for private and public Silicon Valley technology companies.

She has experience handling a wide range of legal matters for technology companies including commercial agreements, intellectual property portfolio strategy, ­management and litigation and employment matters including workplace investigations.

The Columbia Law School and Occidental College alumnus is admitted to practice in California.

Speakers

Neal A. Jacobs, managing partner of Jacobs Law Group, moderated a New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education CLE on June 19 in New Brunswick, New Jersey.

The program, “Business Divorce: The Privately Held Business and Shareholder Relations,” offered attorney attendees 4.5 CLE credits.

Jacobs has been the managing attorney of Jacobs Law Group since its founding in 1999.

His practice is focused on complex ­corporate, business and litigation matters.

Announcements

Barley Snyder‘s Derek P. Dissinger and Joseph P. Schalk both received notice in April that they passed the Maryland bar exam they took in 
February.

Dissinger is an attorney in the firm’s finance and creditors’ rights and real estate practice groups representing banks and credit unions in a wide range of ­commercial loan transactions.

Schalk also is in the finance and ­creditors’ rights practice group.

His practice includes consumer and commercial collections—including residential mortgage default—as well as related ­bankruptcy work for financial institutions and lenders.
