It used to be that Social Security disability was a bipartisan issue. The two parties might put a varying spin on things, but there was little actual difference. That’s changed.
Tonight at 7 p.m. on the Philadelphia CNN-News affiliate WFMZ-TV, The American Law Journal presents, “Social Security Disability: Now That The Election Is Over…” Joining host Christopher Naughton are Jess Leventhal of Leventhal Sutton & Gornstein, Alan Polonsky of Polonsky & Polonsky and former administrative law judge Roger Schwartz.
A presidential election and a congressional hearing may have created the greatest political split over Social Security disability that we’ve seen. Senator Thomas Coburn’s, R-Okla., senatorial investigation recently assessed administrative law judges and SSD’s prospective insolvency. Questions of budget, disability trust fund and Medicaid loom large.
The American Law Journal is the weekly talk-feature program airing on the CNN-News affiliate for Philadelphia, WFMZ-TV 69 to Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware. It airs at 5:30 p.m. Sunday and 7 p.m. Monday.
