My law professor gig is now going on two years plus. I’ve learned a lot about teaching. (As the Zen expression goes: “a good teacher always remains a good student.”) Here’s one lesson: yes, teach doctrine, yet also teach mindsets—that is a way of thinking. The first changes and fluctuates while the second is constant and steady. Mindsets are, in the lingo of our students, “Boss.” I am still stuck on when it was cool to say “Money.” But in either event, here are five mindsets I discovered while teaching.
