Super Bowl XLV ticket holders who alleged that they were displaced on game day and won a jury award of less than $100,000 against the NFL have filed an appeal objecting to the trial court outcome.

The ticket-holder plaintiffs’ claims against the NFL relate to numerous alleged failures in the temporary seating arranged at that championship game, held at Cowboys Stadium in February 2011. With their appeal, filed in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, the ticket-holder plaintiffs seek to overturn a Dallas federal judge’s pretrial rulings and schedule a new trial.
