Kyle McEntee is the executive director and co-founder of Law School Transparency. LST is a nonprofit legal education policy organization. LST's mission is to make entry to the legal profession more transparent, affordable, and fair.
As one of the leaders of the law school transparency reform movement, he is widely recognized for challenging law schools, state bar associations, and the American Bar Association to change business as usual in the world of legal education. Kyle is the youngest lawyer ever to be named on the National Law Journal’s 100 Most Influential Lawyers in America, a list in its fourth decade. In the past two years, National Jurist magazine named him among the most influential in legal education, the ABA Journal selected him as a Legal Rebel, and Fastcase honored him for being among the fifty most interesting, provocative, and courageous leaders in the world of law. While still a law student, Kyle was named Above the Law's 2010 Lawyer of the Year.
Kyle lives in Washington D.C. and is a licensed North Carolina attorney, with a J.D. from Vanderbilt University Law School and a B.A. in Philosophy from the University of North Carolina.
