Amy F. Altman is a senior associate in the Tax and Estates department at the New York office of Herzfeld & Rubin, P.C. She specializes in probate and estate administration, contested probate and contested accounting proceedings, estate planning as well as a variety of guardianship matters. Amy’s focus is on estate litigation and managing complex and fiercely contested matters. She has experience administering decedent’s estates, drafting estate planning documents such as wills, trusts, health care proxies, powers of attorney, living wills as well as estate tax returns. Amy received her law degree in 2007 from Brooklyn Law School where she was a member of the Moot Court Honor Society. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature from New York University in 2002. Amy is admitted to practice in New York and New Jersey.
