The Top Bay Area Law Schools
The rankings by U.S. News & World Report of 175 accredited law schools are based on a weighted average of 12 measures, including the opinions of deans and faculty, LSAT scores, employment placement after graduating, bar passage rate and expenditure per student. For 2003, the second tier started at No. 52, the third tier started at No. 91 and the fourth tier started at No. 136. For 2002, the second tier started at No. 55 and the third tier started at No. 89. Within the second, third and fourth tiers, there are not individual rankings.
