The New York Law Journal marks its 125th anniversary in 2013. As part of our celebration of that milestone, the NYLJ will honor 16 Lifetime Achievers at its gala event on Nov. 4.
In addition, the Law Journal has created an Impact Award to honor law firms, in-house legal departments, agencies, institutions or individuals who have, over the last decade, had the vision and commitment to work for changes that had a profound impact on the law, the legal profession or the way lawyers and clients do business.
Once again we are turning to readers of the New York Law Journal for nominations. Think Big. We are looking for those who devoted the time, the money and the effort to sponsor long-lasting improvements by challenging an outmoded law; breaking barriers for women and minorities; toiling in courts or the legislature to permanently improve the lives of New Yorkers; creating a new model for the way the business of law is conducted; et cetera.
Send a one-page summary of the nominee’s qualifications by Sept. 30 to email@example.com.
The winners of the Impact Award will be honored at the Nov. 4 event and featured in our Oct. 30 special section.
