Judge Catherine DiDomenico has been reappointed to the Family Court bench in New York City, while Judge Alison Hamanjian has been named an interim Civil Court Judge, according to Mayor Bill de Blasio’s office.

DiDomenico was appointed to Family Court in 2006 by Mayor Michael Bloomberg after a year as an interim judge in Staten Island, where she still presides. She previously was an administrative law judge and a hearing officer for the New York City Board of Education. She graduated from Fordham University School of Law, where she is an adjunct professor.
