A federal judge has ordered the unsealing of all but 38 of the roughly 280 documents in contempt proceedings regarding the revelation of an informant’s once-secret criminal history.

Eastern District Judge Brian Cogan on Tuesday told attorneys in the case, In re Motion for Civil Contempt by John Doe, 12-mc-0557, that the documents would be unsealed in 24 hours to allow time to correct any technical issues, such as wrong numbers affixed to documents.
