Ex-Dewey & LeBoeuf partners in the United States have reached settlement agreements in clawback suits with the firm’s liquidating trustee, a lawyer for the trustee said Thursday. Only clawback suits against former partners abroad remain active.

In the last two years, Dewey liquidating trustee Alan Jacobs sued more than 35 ex-partners seeking to claw back money they received from Dewey. The targeted partners declined to join a $71.5 million settlement struck in 2012 between roughly 400 of their former colleagues and the bankruptcy estate.
