The Legal Aid Society held its 37th annual awards dinner on Wednesday at the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel. About 900 people attended the fundraising event, which the group says was the most successful in its history.

Among those present were, from left, Richard Davis, Legal Aid’s board chairman; Brad Karp, chairman of Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison who received the Servant of Justice Award; Joshua Harris, co-founder and chief investment officer at Apollo Global Management who received the Theodore Roosevelt Award; and Legal Aid president Blaine V. Fogg, who is of counsel at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom.
