Laura Brevetti, K&L Gates partner and former U.S. Department of Justice attorney, is moving in-house to World Wrestling Entertainment Inc., also known as WWE, a media company focused on wrestling events and sports entertainment. Brevetti was appointed senior vice president, general counsel and secretary, reporting directly to WWE chairman and chief executive officer, Vince McMahon, at the Stamford, Conn., company.
Brevetti, 62, has been a partner at K&L Gates since 2009. Prior to joining the firm she had her own practice and was Attorney-in-Charge of the U.S. Justice Department’s Organized Crime Strike Force in the Eastern District.
