The Eastern District Chapter of the Federal Bar Association honored the five Eastern District judges who served in World War II at a Dec. 5 event at the American Airpower Museum in Farmingdale, Long Island.

The veterans, from left are Judges Thomas Platt, 87, U.S. Navy; I. Leo Glasser, 88, U.S. Army; Leonard Wexler, 88, U.S. Army; Jack Weinstein, 91, U.S. Navy; and Arthur Spatt, 86, U.S. Navy. “Your accomplishments in uniform and in the courtroom, as well as your unique place in history, is and will remain proudly remembered by our nation, our legal community and the Federal Bar Association,” program chair Robert Rando told the judges.
