New York Lawyers for the Public Interest held its annual Felix A. Fishman Awards Luncheon on Nov. 15 at the New York City Bar.

On hand for the event, from left, are Kelly McAnnany, codirector of the group’s Disability Justice Program, who presented an award to Marilyn Saviola, vice president, advocacy, and the Women’s Health Access Program at Independence Care System; Hector Gonzalez, chair of NYPLI’s board; Carolyn Silver, director, legal advocacy and organizing, Lenox Hill Neighborhood House, another honoree; and Miranda Massey, NYPLI’s interim executive director, who presented the award to Silver.

The awards are named for Felix A. Fishman, who practiced at Moses & Singer for 65 years and served for more than three decades as a trustee and director of the Henry & Lucy Moses Fund, which endows the awards.
