Baker & McKenzie: Harry Valetk joins the firm’s global privacy and North America international commercial practices as counsel to the New York office and will advise multinational companies on privacy and data-protection matters. Previously, Valetk was director of the global privacy office at MetLife Inc.
Blank Rome (Philadelphia): James Odell joins the firm as partner in the finance, restructuring, and bankruptcy group and co-leader of the’ financial services industry team in the New York office and will focus on matters in the financial sector. Previously, Odell was managing director and head of legal for the Depository Trust & Clearing Corp.
