Alston & Bird (Atlanta): Alice Yurke joins the firm’s corporate and finance practice as partner in the New York office and will focus on derivatives, hedge funds and alternative investments. Previously, Yurke was a partner at Jones Day.

Ballard Spahr (Philadelphia): Mikel Bistrow and Christopher Celentino join the firm as partners in the San Diego office and will focus on insolvency and finance matters. Previously, Bistrow and Celentino were partners at Foley & Lardner.

Barnes & Thornburg (Indianapolis): Andrew Andreasik joins the firm’s real estate department as partner in the Chicago office and will represent developers, investors and owners in the acquisition, financing, development, leasing and disposition of commercial real estate assets. Previously, Andreasik was a partner at K&L Gates.

Edwards Wildman Palmer (Boston): Allison O’Neil joins the firm’s litigation department as a partner in the Boston office and will focus on a variety of criminal matters in state and federal courts, and will regularly advises clients in civil disputes with related criminal issues, including commercial crimes. Previously, O’Neil was a partner at Craig and Macauley.

King & Spalding (Atlanta): Werner Meier joins the firm as partner in the Frankfurt office and will focus on German and international restructuring, financing and capital-markets transactions. Previously, Meier was a partner at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton.

Latham & Watkins: David Callahan joins the firm’s litigation department as partner in the Chicago office and will focus on litigation in the areas of patent, trademark, trade secrets, false advertising and unfair competition. Previously, Callahan was a partner at Kirkland & Ellis. Additionally, Samuel Isaacson joins the firm’s litigation department as partner in the Chicago office and will focus on commercial litigation, including shareholder litigation and SEC enforcement actions. Previously, Isaacson was a partner at DLA Piper.

Manatt, Phelps & Phillips (Los Angeles): Katherine Blair joins the firm’s capital-markets practice as partner in the Los Angles office and will focus on corporate, securities, finance, venture capital and emerging companies, mergers and acquisition, corporate governance and general commercial matters. Previously, Blair was a partner at K&L Gates.

Morrison & Foerster: Shirin Tang joins the firm’s corporate practice as partner in the Singapore office and will focus on mergers and acquisitions, private-equity and joint-venture transactions, Previously, Tang was a partner at Shearman & Sterling.

Much Shelist (Chicago): Julia Turk joins the firm’s business and finance practice as partner in the Chicago office and will focus on federal, state and local transactions, including income taxation and general corporate and partnership law. Previously, Turk was a partner at Culhane Meadows.

Perkins Coie (Seattle): Julie Hussey joins the firm’s products liability practice as partner in the San Diego office and will defend clients against claims involving products liability, consumer fraud, unfair competition, false and misleading advertisement, “All Natural” labeling and toxic torts. Previously, Hussey was a partner at DLA Piper.

Squire Sanders: Kenneth Regensburg joins the corporate practice as partner in New York and will focus on mergers and acquisitions. Previously, he was a partner at Reed Smith.
