Arnstein & Lehr (Chicago): Erin Murphy joins the firm’s litigation practice group as special counsel to the Chicago office and will focus on distressed property, code violations and compliance, civil and commercial litigation, and administrative law and appeals. Previously, Murphy was a principal in the Law Office of Erin M. Murphy.

Curtis, Mallet-Prevost, Colt & Mosle (New York): Shaya Rochester joins the firm’s restructuring and insolvency practice group as partner in the New York office and will focus on corporate restructuring and bankruptcy law. Previously, Rochester was senior counsel to Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld.

Greenberg Traurig: William Mack joins the firm’s government law and policy and financial regulatory and compliance practices as of counsel to the New York office and will focus on government investigations, legislative, lobbying, trade and regulatory and compliance. Previously, Mack was principal counsel for enforcement at the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority.

Mayer Brown: Edgar Khalatian joins the firm’s government and global trade group as partner in the Los Angeles office and will represent investors and developers in land use matters and California environmental quality act compliance. Previously, Khalatian was of counsel to Paul Hastings.

Ogletree, Deakins, Nash, Smoak & Stewart: Michael Marra joins the firm as partner in the New York office and will focus on employment and labor law. Previously, Marra was special counsel to Cooley.

Sidley Austin: Jack Pirozzolo joins the firm’s white-collar defense, government litigation and investigations practice as partner in the Boston office. Previously, Pirozzolo was first assistant U.S. attorney for Massachusetts.


Foley & Lardner: Jana Anderson joins the firm’s health care practice as partner in the Jacksonville office and will focus on health care regulatory matters including Medicare and Medicaid enrollment, coverage, payment and fraud and abuse issues. Previously, Anderson was a partner at Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough.

Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough (Columbia, S.C.): B.T. Atkinson and Scott Tobin join the firm’s corporate practice as partners. Atkinson joins the Charlotte office and will focus on corporate, securities and regulatory matters for financial institutions and other public and private companies. Scott Tobin joins the firm’s Raleigh office and will focus on technology finance, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance and business litigation. Previously, Atkinson was a partner at Bryan Cave and Tobin was a partner at his own firm, Johnston Tobin.

Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman: Anthony Raven and Simon Barrett join the firm’s finance practice as partners in the Tokyo office and will focus on the development and financing of major infrastructure projects. Previously, Barrett was a partner at Simmons & Simmons and Raven was a partner at Hogan Lovells.

Troutman Sanders (Atlanta): Debbie Reperowitz joins the firm’s financial services litigation practice as ­partner in the New York office and will focus on complex commercial litigation, business restructuring and bankruptcy. Previously, Reperowitz was a partner at Reed Smith.

Ulmer & Berne (Cleveland): David Pope joins the firm’s litigation team as partner in the Chicago office and will represent bank and financial institutions in complex litigation. Previously, Pope was a partner at Mayer Brown.
