Hogan Lovells: Adam Golden joins the firm’s corporate practice as partner in the New York office and will focus on mergers and acquisitions, securities offerings, intellectual property licenses, joint ventures and other corporate transactions. Previously, Golden was a partner at Kaye Scholer. Additionally, Michael Maddigan joins the litigation and arbitration practice as partner in the Los Angeles office and will focus on health care litigation. Previously, Maddigan was a partner at O’Melveny & Myers.
Manatt, Phelps & Phillips (Los Angeles): John Gatti joins the firm as partner in the litigation department and co-chairman of the national entertainment litigation group in the Los Angeles office. He will represent clients in the media, entertainment, sports, Internet and gaming industries. Previously, Gatti was a partner at Stroock & Stroock & Lavan.
Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough (Columbia, S.C.): Mark VanderBroek joins the firm’s intellectual property practice as partner in the Atlanta office and will focus on intellectual property, business and franchise litigation. Previously, VanderBroek was a partner at Troutman Sanders. Additionally, Bryan Durrett joins the firm’s real estate practice as partner in the Charlotte office and will focus on commercial real estate transactions. Frankfurt Kurnit Klein & Selz (New York): Sean Kane joins the firm’s interactive entertainment group as partner in the New York office and will focus on transactions and intellectual property matters involving entertainment, communications and consumer companies. Previously, Kane was special counsel to Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman.
