John Cuddihy, 43, has joined Ballard Spahr’s Washington office as partner in the firm’s intellectual property department. He joins from Crowell & Moring. Cuddihy earned his J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center.

Scott Hammond, 50, is joining Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher’s Washington office as a partner in the antitrust and trade regulation practice. Hammond joins from the U.S. Department of Justice’s Antitrust Division. He earned his J.D. from the University of North Carolina School of Law.
