Andrew Herman, 44, has joined Miller & Chevalier’s Washington office as counsel. Herman previously was a partner at Brand Law Group. He focuses on litigating federal campaign and election law issues. He earned his J.D. from University of California Hastings College of the Law.


John Schryber, 56, and Andrew Weiner, 38, have joined Reed Smith’s Wash­ington office as partners in the insurance recovery group. Both join Reed Smith from Dickstein Shapiro, where they were partners. Schryber and Weiner represent corporate policy holders against insurance companies. Weiner earned his J.D. from University of Virginia School of Law, and Schryber earned his J.D. from New York Law School.


Elizabeth Geise, 58, and Valerie Ross, 47, have joined Schiff Hardin’s Washington office as partners in the firm’s product liability group. Ross and Geise were previously partners at Goodwin Procter. They focus on complex commercial litigation and toxic torts. Geise earned her J.D. from Harvard Law School and Ross earned her J.D. from University of Chicago Law School.


Kelly Donohue, 40, has joined as of counsel to Wilkinson Barker Knauer’s Wash­ington office. Previously, Donohue was special counsel in the Federal Com­muni­cations Commission Office of the Chief of the Enforcement Bureau. She focuses on media and digital-content clients on regulatory and enforcement matters. Donohue earned her J.D. from Duke Law School.


H. Stephen Harris Jr., 58, has joined Winston & Strawn’s Washington office as a partner in the firm’s antitrust/competition practice. Harris, formerly chairman of Baker & McKenzie’s North America antitrust and competition group, focuses on cartel defense, merger control filings and administrative proceedings. He earned his J.D. from Columbia Law School.
