Barnes & Thornburg (Indianapolis): Stephen Weizenecker joins the firm's entertainment and music practice as partner in the Atlanta office and will focus on marketing litigation and tax incentive systems. Previously, he was a partner at Lewis Brisbois Bisgaard & Smith. Additionally, Jeffrey Mallamad joins the firm's national labor and employment law department as partner and will focus on labor and employment matters. Previously, Mallamad was a partner at Bingham Greenebaum Doll.

Burr & Forman (Birmingham, Ala.): Joseph Vallo joins the firm's litigation practice as partner in the Fort Lauderdale, Fla., office and will focus on securities litigation, securities arbitration and mediation. Previously, Vallo was a partner at Greenberg Traurig.

Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher (Los Angeles): Brad Roach joins the firm as partner in the Singapore office and will focus on energy, infrastructure and project finance. Previously Roach was a partner at Hogan Lovells.

Hogan Lovells: Michael Gilligan joins the firm's corporate practice as partner in the New York office and will focus on cross-border and domestic public and private mergers and acquisitions. Previously, Gilligan was a partner at Allen & Overy.

Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough (Columbia, S.C.): Wells Hall III joins the firm's federal and state tax practice and national health care group as partner in the Charlotte, N.C., office and will focus on transactions and tax planning involving pass-through entities. Previously, Hall was a partner at Mayer Brown.

Paul Hastings: Jimmy Vallee joins the firm's mergers and acquisitions practice as partner in the Houston office and will focus on energy mergers and acquisitions matters. Previously, Vallee was a partner at Jones Day.

Perkins Coie (Seattle): Jonesh Daryanani joins the firm's labor and employment practice as partner in the Los Angeles office and will focus on employment and labor litigation, including trade secrets and employee mobility litigation. Previously, Daryanani was a partner at Loeb & Loeb. Additionally, Michael Glenn joins the firm's intellectual property practice as partner in the Palo Alto, Calif., office and will focus on patent prosecution, intellectual property audits and strategy. Previously, Glenn was a patent attorney at Glenn Patent Group.

Porter Hedges (Houston): Jeff Weems joins the firm's litigation practice group as partner and will focus on energy law litigation. Previously, Weems was a partner at Harrison, Bettis, Staff, McFarland & Weems.

Rimon (San Francisco): Scott Ross joins the firm as head of its new trust and estates group in the Palo Alto, Calif., office. Ross and the group will focus on trust and estates issues and estate planning for high-net-worth individuals. Previously, Ross was a name partner at Beck Ross Bismonte Finley.

White & Case: Paola Leocani joins the firm as partner in the Milan, Italy, office and will focus on capital markets, including international retail debt, liability management transactions and regulatory matters. Previously, Leocani was a partner at Allen & Overy.
