Jones Day: Loren Weil and Matt O'Meara join the global banking and finance practice as partners in the Chi­cago office. Weil will focus on corporate finance transactions and O'Meara on large- and middle-market leveraged buyouts. Previously, Weil and O'Meara were partners at Winston & Strawn.

King & Spalding (Atlanta): Egishe Dzhazoyan joins the international dispute-resolution practice as partner in the London office and will focus on arbitration and litigation in the banking, telecommunications and energy sectors. Previously, Dzhazoyan was a partner at Steptoe & Johnson LLP.

Kramer Levin Naftalis & Frankel (New York): Daniel Rabinowitz joins the insurance practice as partner in the New York office and will focus on transactional and regulatory matters. Previously, Rabinowitz was a partner at Chadbourne & Parke.

Perkins Coie (Seattle): Domingo Such III joins the personal-planning group as partner in the Chicago office and will focus on succession, financial, estate and tax planning. Previously, Such was a partner at McDermott Will & Emery.

Reed Smith: Julius Turman joins the labor and employment practice as partner in the San Francisco office and will focus on single-plaintiff, class action and collective-action litigation. Previously, Turman was a partner at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius.

Rimon (San Francisco): Richard Mooney joins as partner in the San Francisco office and will focus on business disputes involving antitrust and competition matters and transnational disputes. Previously, Mooney was a partner at Bryan Cave.

Blank Rome (Philadelphia): Jonathan Lander joins the private-client group as partner in the Philadelphia office and will focus on trusts and estates law. Previously, Lander was senior vice president at PNC Wealth Management. Additionally, Robert Kauffman joins the commercial litigation, mergers and acquisitions and private-equity groups as partner. His focus will be on commercial transactions. Previously, Kauffman was senior vice president and general counsel at Harleysville Insurance Group Inc.

Kasowitz , Benson , Torres & Fried­man (New York): Joseph Lieberman joins the firm as senior counsel and will focus on independent and internal investigations and advising clients on public policy, strategic and regulatory issues. Previously, Lieberman served as a U.S. senator from Connecticut.

McCarter & English (Newark, N.J.): Simone Wilson-Brito joins the firm's real estate practice as partner in the Newark office and will focus on commercial real estate transactions with a concentration in financing, leasing and acquisition. Previously, Wilson-Brito was real estate counsel with Rockefeller Group Development Corp.

Winston & Strawn (Chicago): Gerald Shargel joins the litigation practice as partner in the New York office and will focus on white-collar defense. Previ­ously, Shargel was a partner in the Law Offices of Gerald L. Shargel.
