Previously, Davison was general counsel and chief compliance officer at Libertas Partners.

Debevoise & Plimpton (New York): Lee Schneider joins the firm’s corporate department and financial institutions and banking groups as counsel to the New York office and will focus on broker-dealer and financial technology issues. Previously, Schneider was general counsel at ConvergEx Group.

Pepper Hamilton (Philadelphia): Brian Korn joins the firm’s corporate and securities practice group as of counsel to the New York office and will focus on representing clients in investment banking and capital-markets transactions. Previously, Korn was director and head of equity capital markets and equities syndicate compliance for the Americas at Barclays Capital.

Seyfarth Shaw (Chicago): Shashank Upadhye joins the firm’s intellectual property practice group as partner in the Chicago office and will focus on pharmaceutical patent litigation. Previously, he was vice president and global head of intellectual property at Apotex Inc.

Wilson Elser Moskowitz Edelman & Dicker (New York): Jonathan Bing joins the firm’s government relations practice as partner in the New York office and will also focus on insurance and employment law. Previously, Bing served as special deputy superintendent of the New York Liquidation Bureau.

Barnes & Thornburg (Indianapolis): Bonita Hatchett joins the firm’s corporate department as partner in the Chicago office and will focus on counseling clients on complying with the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act. Previously, Hatchett was a partner at K&L Gates.

Baker & Hostetler: Ana Salper joins the firm’s employment and labor group as partner in the New York office and will focus on employment discrimination, wage-and-hour law and other employment matters. Previously, Salper was a partner at Epstein, Becker & Green.

Bradley Arant Boult Cummings (Birmingham, Ala.): Lance Wilkerson joins the firm’s corporate and securities group as partner in the Birmingham office and will focus on business formation, mergers and acquisitions and other corporate matters. Previously, Wilkerson was a partner at Johnston Barton Proctor and Rose.

 

Holland & Knight: Steven Hunt joins the firm’s construction-industry practice group as partner in the Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, office and will focus on construction law, engineering and dispute resolution. Previously, Hunt was regional head of the construction and engineering practice at Al Tamimi & Co., an Emirates-based law firm.
 

Kaye Scholer (New York): Paul Atherton joins the firm’s bankruptcy and restructuring practice as partner in the London office and will focus on international insolvency and restructuring matters. Previously, Atherton was a partner at Kirkland & Ellis International.

Kirkland & Ellis (Chicago): Taurie Zeitzer joins the firm’s corporate practice group as partner in the New York office and will focus on mergers and acquisitions, private equity and complex corporate transactions. Previously, Zeitzer was a partner at Latham & Watkins.

Nixon Peabody: Xueqing Ji joins the firm’s global business and transactions practice as partner in the Boston office and will focus on cross-border business transactions involving the United States and China. Previously, Ji was senior counsel to Foley & Lardner.
