Eckert Seamans Cherin & Mellott (Pittsburgh): Gabriel Dym joins the firm’s litigation division as an associate in the Boston office. Dym will focus his practice on commercial and complex business litigation, professional liability defense, and insurance coverage and bad faith litigation. Previously, Dym was an assistant district attorney in Middlesex County, Mass. Dym received his J.D. from the Boston University School of Law in 2006.

Neal Gerber Eisenberg (Chicago): Three attorneys join the firm’s intellectual property practice group as associates. Kevin Cukierski will focus his practice on patent counseling and prosecution. He has experience preparing and prosecuting domestic and foreign patent applications involving a variety of technologies, including gaming software, medical devices, aviation, digital imaging, encryption, display devices and security systems. Previously, Cukierski was an associate at K&L Gates. Cukierski received his J.D. from the University of Illinois College of Law in 2010. Kevin O’Connor will focus on patent prosecution, preparation of validity and infringement opinions, interference practice and litigation. Previously, O’Connor was an associate at McAndrews Held & Malloy. O’Connor received his J.D. from Chicago-Kent College of Law in 2007. And Thomas Campbell Jr. will focus his practice on representing clients in patent and trademark prosecution and in litigation over patents, trademarks, copyrights and trade secrets covering a variety of technological and business areas. Previously, Campbell was an associate at McAndrews Held & Malloy. Campbell received his J.D. from DePaul University in 2009.
