Attorneys, ever the competitors, are no stranger to ranking metrics. Many lawyers keep the U.S. News rankings of their law school and the AmLaw rankings of their law firms readily on hand to impress clients and peers.

Legal analytics platform Ravel Law recently announced their entry into the rankings game with their Firm Analytics product, which uses metrics drawn from motion success rates to rank large law firms against one another across upwards of 30 practice areas. This is Ravel’s fourth data intelligence platform, following their Judge Analytics, Court Analytics and Motion Analytics tool.
