Though the rise of globalization has had a marked impact on Big Law, small and mid-sized firms miss out on some opportunities for transnational work.

Globality, a newly-launched online marketplace, hopes to expand access to global markets by pipelining global corporate legal matters into the hands of small and mid-sized law firms. The platform, launched this January, connects service providers from the legal, marketing and environmental impact sectors to potential matters with a minimum fee of $100,000, with plans to expand its scope into other sectors.
