When the International Data Corp. revealed that the global e-discovery market was $10 billion in 2015, not many people were surprised. After all, in the U.S., the cost of litigation and the amount of discoverable data continues to rise, leading to profits for a number of e-discovery companies.

However, there’s more than one place where e-discovery remains a smaller business, and finding one only takes a quick look north, said Jennifer Johnson, vice president at Canadian e-discovery giant Commonwealth Legal, a division of Ricoh Canada.
