What is podcasting?

Podcasting provides you with audio and video files that automatically are downloaded to your computer. You can play the files on your computer, or you can transfer them to a digital media player — such as an iPod. You don't need an iPod; you can use any portable device that plays mp3 files or video files.

Here are the simple steps:

1. Open your podcast management program. If you don't have a one installed yet, you can download a free program from numerous sources. Here's a list: www.podcastingnews.com/topics/Podcast_Software.html.

2. When you have a podcast program installed and open on your computer, simply right-click on one of the RSS images on the TL Podcasts and Video Blog page and select "Copy Shortcut." If you're using a Mac, hold down the mouse button and select "Copy." Or, you can right-click on this icon: RSS.

3. Paste the link you copied in step 2 into the subscription field of your podcast software, and you've subscribed to TL Podcasts.
