San Antonio lawyer Mikal Watts has resigned from the Plaintiffs’ Steering Committee (PSC) that leads the ongoing litigation over the April 2010 Deepwater Horizon oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico.
"The Clerk shall remove Mr. Watts from the list of PSC and Class Counsel members," says a March 13 order by U.S. District Judge Carl J. Barbier, who presides over the multi-district litigation in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana in New Orleans.
