McKool Preserves $368 Million Patent Win Against Apple

When McKool Smith's Douglas Cawley scored a $368 million jury verdict against Apple Inc., the firms partial contingency agreement with plaintiff VirnetX Inc. gave the firm an extra big stake in preserving the victory. VirnetX has managed to fend off the first round of post-verdict attacks by Apple's lawyers, and the award remains safe for now.
