Turning down business is not something most lawyers are comfortable doing. Taking on new clients and new matters is not only exciting but also critical to maintaining a thriving law practice. Without new clients, most firms will cease to exist. But learning how and when to say “no” at the right time may save lawyers and firms a lot of time and expense in the long run.
