Texas Lawyer

August 13, 2012

A trademark infringement complaint is the most recent salvo in a battle between the League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC) and three of its former Texas officers. Plaintiffs alleged that LULAC's national board of directors had violated their due-process rights and LULAC's constitutional bylaws when it removed them from their Texas LULAC posts. Luis Roberto Vera Jr. is LULAC general counsel.
