Judge Kyle Carter has signed an order dismissing what remained of a suit that lawyer Craig Washington had filed against solo Seth Kretzer.
On April 30, Carter, of Harris County’s 125th District Court, granted Kretzer’s summary judgment motion and dismissed three of Washington’s four causes of action, including slander per se, tortious interference with an existing contract, and fraudulence by misrepresentation, concealment or nondisclosure. Only Washington’s negligence per se cause of action remained. But on May 29, Washington filed a notice of dismissal without prejudice in the case, Washington v. Kretzer, and Carter signed the order.
