Schools Try to Keep Law Students Afloat in a Sea of Debt

Data provided by eight of Texas' nine American Bar Association-accredited law schools show that graduates of the state's three public law schools had an average student loan debt of $74,209 ? 2 percent less than the $75,387 nationwide average for all public law schools. 2011 graduates of five of Texas' six private law schools had an average student loan debt of $104,985
