In His Brother's Footsteps

Texas Lawyer

April 23, 2012

Since the early 1900s, every generation in 273rd District Judge Charles Mitchell's family has included a lawyer. His maternal grandfather was the first, moving to San Augustine, Texas, at the turn of the century to practice law and eventually serve as county judge and a district judge. After receiving his law degree from the University of Houston Law Center in 1979, there was no question he'd return to San Augustine.
