On Feb. 9, a jury awarded $8,207 to a woman who claimed cervical and lumbar strains in a rear-ender. Ella Lee Coleman was driving on South Hampton Road at West Red Bird Lane in Dallas when she was hit by Eloyd Avery. Coleman claimed back and neck injuries. She underwent three months of chiropractic treatment.
