Jury awards $4,224 to plaintiff claiming wrist injuries
On Jan. 18, a jury awarded $4,224 to a passenger who claimed injuries to both her wrists and arms. Carolina Perez was a passenger in a car driven by her boyfriend, Guadalupe Aguilera. Miguel Nunez was driving toward them when he attempted a left turn and they collided. Perez sustained median nerve compression in the right wrist and moderate nerve compression on the left. She underwent three surgical decompression procedures. The jury found Nunez 75 percent negligent and Aguilera 25 percent negligent
