Fish & Richardson, Dallas principals M. Brett Johnson and Geoffrey Harper, and firm client H. Jonathan Cooke have been sued for fraud in a Dallas district court for allegedly failing to disclose Johnson’s relationship with an arbitrator who awarded Cooke $22 million in an underlying case — allegations the defendants deny.

Ashley Brigham Patten, et al. v. M. Brett Johnson, et al., filed Feb. 22, comes about eight months after Dallas’ 5th Court of Appeals vacated that $22 million arbitration award and remanded the underlying case to the trial court.
