Plaintiffs awarded $68,304 for back and neck injuries
On Nov. 9, 2011, a jury awarded a couple $68,304 on their claim that they sustained back and neck injuries in a parking lot crash. In 2007, Willie Edwards and Tracie Lemons alleged that they were broadsided by James Fear. Fear claimed he was driving in the main lane and Edwards pulled in front of him in violation of his right of way. Edwards and Lemons claimed cervical and lumbar strains. The jury awarded Edwards $48,776.52 and Lemons $19,528.20.
