The Texas Supreme Court has rejected a request by the State Bar of Texas board of directors to suspend the work of the Uniform Forms Task Force, which recommended forms for pro se litigants to use in uncomplicated, uncontested divorce cases.

In a letter delivered the afternoon of Jan. 25 to the State Bar, Supreme Court Chief Justice Wallace Jefferson wrote, “In accordance with its usual practice, the Court has decided to refer the Task Force report to the Supreme Court Advisory Committee.”
