Houston lawyers Tammy Tran and Pete Mai and Tran’s firm, Tammy Tran Attorneys at Law, seek a take-nothing judgment in a breach of fiduciary duty and breach of contract suit filed against them by a woman who alleges they mishandled her litigation.
Tran, Pete Mai and the firm also seek recovery of their fees, costs and expenses from plaintiff Nancy Mai and her lawyer, David Vuong, under Texas Civil Practice & Remedies Code §§9.001 and 10.0001 and Texas Rule of Civil Procedure 13 on the ground the plaintiff’s allegations are “groundless, baseless and frivolous.”
