Texas has the seventh-largest lawyer surplus compared to other states, with nearly 900 more newly minted lawyers than available lawyer jobs, according to a consulting firm's research. Representatives from four of Texas' nine law schools answered questions e-mailed by Texas Lawyer reporter Angela Morris about the numbers and what their schools do to prepare graduates for the job market.
