Plaintiff recovers $2,762 for red-light crash

On Feb. 21, a driver who claimed cervical and lumbar strains in an intersection crash recovered $2,762. In 2008, Odia Ehimuh was driving in Houston when he collided with Susan Anwiler. Ehimuh claimed Anwiler ran a red light. Anwiler claimed she definitely had a green light, but Ehimuh possibly may have had a green light due to a malfunction in the traffic signals. The jury found Anwiler 85 percent liable for the collision and Ehimuh 15 percent liable. It awarded $3,250.
