There are three key reasons lawyers should vote for the proposed changes to the Texas Disciplinary Rules of Professional Conduct: The proposed changes are better than the current version, most of the current rules saw few changes, and a diverse group of lawyers drafted the proposed rules, writes Linda Eads. The proposed rules are a considerable improvement over the current rules and better protect lawyers and clients than the current rules, she says.
