At the invitation of Texas Lawyer , attorneys shared their resolutions for 2011. Their e-mailed resolutions include goals such as spending less time on Facebook, getting another academic degree, doing more deals and using less paper. These goals for the coming year, and many others, are listed below, edited for length and style.
“Mentors have been an extremely important part of the development of my practice. In 2011, I hope to honor those who have taught me what it means to be a Texas lawyer by taking the time to mentor younger lawyers through both action and example.”

“I am resolving to do more film, music and game deals; avoid spending time on Twitter and Facebook; help my artist clients survive another year; and become more mobile so I can work from exotic locations around the world.”
