Three Texas lawyers have been placed on probation, the State Bar of Texas reported recently. In all three cases, the Bar cited alleged violations of the Texas Disciplinary Rules of Professional Conduct involving the requirement not to neglect a legal matter entrusted to the lawyer. In one of the cases, the lawyer is required complete 15 additional hours of continuing legal education in the area of law practice management. He must also submit to the monitoring of his law practice for six months.
