On April 20, a Muslim man who claimed that his boss referred to him as a terrorist and called him “Osama” and “Al Qaeda” among other things agreed to a $61,250 settlement. Mohammad Kaleemuddin worked as a driver for Pace Services until he was allegedly fired because of his race and religion. The EEOC alleged that the supervisor had a history of using racial epithets when referring to Latino and black employees. As part of the settlement, the boss no longer works there and the company is enjoined from giving him a favorable recommendation.
